beBeer Ambassador

The personal commitment of local councillors to their commune.

Any local, regional, national or European elected representative may become a beBeer Ambassador for their local authority in a personal capacity. This voluntary initiative highlights their commitment and their favourite breweries/pubs; it is distinct from their local authority’s or region’s institutional membership of RECORB.

01

Being present and representing their local authority

A digital profile displays their personal details, including their photo, term of office, constituency, contact details (if they wish) and up to ten favourite local breweries.

02

Promoting your local authority or region

On their profile, ambassadors recommend and highlight the richness of the local heritage: traditional beer halls, brewers, microbreweries, pubs, cafés, beer guilds, producers and craftspeople in their town or municipality.

03

Join a European network

He features on the European beer map, is able to exchange views with other committed elected representatives, and helps to raise awareness of his local authority’s initiatives and favourite spots.

04

Promoting key players in the local brewing sector

By creating genuine synergies between the various stakeholders, the Ambassador boosts the local economy and attracts new visitors to raise the profile of their municipality.
